Dario F. Cardona, M.D.
Doctor Cardona attended the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York obtaining his degree in internal medicine in 2007. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the Board of Internal Medicine, he found through his experience that practice medicine is not only to apply knowledge and concepts to diseases; he feels he has a gift to help others to improve their quality of life. He loves to spend time with his wife and two sons.
Vivian Virella Guzman, M.D.
Doctor Vivian Virella was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Daughter of a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. Raised at Dominican Republic. She attended Colegio Dominicano De La Salle and she Graduated from High School in Science and Letters. She earned her MD at INTEC University Magna Cum Laude in Dominican Republic. Doctor Virella has been practicing medicine since 2004 for the last eleven years, at San Juan, Puerto Rico’s emergency room, OB-Gyn and General Medicine Group. She made Lakeland her home in 2014. She enjoys reading, cross fit and spending quality time with her husband, son and her little dog.
Luis Garcia-Rivera, M.D. MPH
Doctor Luis Garcia was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico; he is a graduate of San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. graduating with honors in 1998. Doctor Garcia completed his internship in general medicine at Hospital La Conception in san German, Puerto Rico. Doctor Garcia also has a Master in public health at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus having more than 18 years of diverse experience, especially in General Practice, Doctor Garcia has been working since March 2015 at Advanced Internal Medicine care in Lakeland Florida. He is well committed to the diagnosis treatment of illness and with the health promotion and education of all his patients. Doctor Luis Garcia love to spend his time with his wife and children.
Leiden E. González Pimentel, M.D.
Doctor González was born in Mayaguez Puerto Rico. His passion for medicine, which he got from his father and uncles and aunt, got him through medical school which he finished at Universidad Iberoamericana del Caribe in Santo Domingo. He completed his Internship at Hospital Cayetano Coll y Toste in Puerto Rico. He opened his medical office in Hatillo Puerto Rico where he indeed realized that he was in the right field he had chosen. Doctor González recently moved to Florida State specifically Lakeland where he has created a special bond between him and his patients. He is happily married and they have 2 handsome sons and enjoy life as they live day by day.
Tatiana N. Hernández Cabrera, M.D.
Doctor Hernández Cabrera was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She earned her bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus; later she attended Iberoamerican University in the Dominican Republic where she earned her Medical Doctorate degree, graduating with honors. Doctor Hernández completed her medical internship at Dr. Pila Metropolitan Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico, where she was elected Chief Medical Intern. Doctor Hernández also has a Master’s Degree in Business Management specializing in healthcare administration. She recently moved to Lakeland with her husband, where she hopes to bring the best care for her patients and continue to grow as a professional. She enjoys spending her time with her family and friends.
Lionel Ramirez Rivera, MD.
Doctor Ramirez was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, He earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Microbiology at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus, later he attended Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic where he earned his Medical Doctorate, he then performed a Rotational internship in Manati Puerto Rico. He is a firm believer that patients educated on their conditions have the best outcomes. He just moved to Lakeland in April 2021. When he is not working he loves spending time learning new things and spending time with his wife and newborn daughter.
Alexis Hernandez Bonilla, M.D.
Doctor Hernandez Bonilla was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Raised in a loving family in the town of Aguada and with the dream of being able to help others, he decided to start his career. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus. He then attended Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Hernandez Bonilla completed his Medical Internship in Ponce, Puerto Rico at Hospital Metropolitano Dr. Pila. He is an astrophotography enthusiast who loves spending free time with his wife and family looking at the night sky.

Bernardo Trujillo, APRN
Bernardo Trujillo, APRN. He is originally from Neiva, Colombia. With over 14 years of healthcare experience and a Master's degree from the University of South Florida in 2016, he's a dedicated Nurse Practitioner. Bernardo is a board-certified provider, passionate about patient care. He's a great listener, always open to understanding your concerns and needs. He has been in Lakeland for over 21 years. He spends his days and free time with his wife and kids discovering new places around the city.
Reina Lajara, M.D.
Dr. Lajara was born in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. She graduated with honors in Doctor of Medicine in 1996 from the University Central del Este, Dominican Republic. Additionally, Dr. Lajara holds a Master's Degree in Public Health (Epidemiology) and graduated from Ponce Medical School in Puerto Rico. Dr. Reina Lajara believes that being a medical doctor is a gift that enables her to help others by applying her knowledge. With over 23 years of experience as a physician, Dr. Lajara frequently participates in mission trips to other countries, providing medical assistance to low-income individuals. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
